Modern death metal just can't compete with this. No DAW, no quantizing of the drums, no aligning perfectly to the grid, etc. Doc really played this, this ferociously. And the follow-up, Black to the Blind, is even more nuts. To quote John Longstreth, Doc was the "baddest European drummer of his time".
